Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support system-to-system integrations using C# and .NET.
- Build and maintain two-way data interchange integrations between systems.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and work with JSON and XML data formats.
- Apply integration patterns and architectural approaches to deliver reliable solutions.
- Contribute to technical architecture, application design, programming, unit testing, troubleshooting, and integration testing.
- Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira to support development, releases, issue tracking, and defect management.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, project teams, technical leads, and stakeholders on requirements, solution design, and delivery.
- Produce and maintain functional specifications, technical designs, database models, and other technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience in C#/.NET development.
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting system integrations.
- Experience integrating two or more systems, ideally with two-way data interchange.
- Strong experience with .NET Framework and modern .NET/Core environments, including .NET 6 or later.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, integration patterns, dependency injection, and application architecture.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, unit testing, Jira or similar issue-tracking tools, and production software development.
- Understanding of technical architecture across client, presentation, business, service, data, and database layers.
- Experience with WPF/XAML, web applications, or SPA development is advantageous.
- Exposure to web servers, databases, service accounts, DNS, virtual environments, networking, and application security principles is beneficial.
- Relevant qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
