Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and validate Python web applications using the Plotly Dash framework.
- Use pandas for data manipulation, cleaning, transformation, analysis, and preparation of reliable dashboard data.
- Create interactive data visualizations and user-friendly dashboard pages using HTML, CSS, Dash HTML components, and external stylesheets.
- Manage source code with Git and GitHub, including repositories, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and global and local teams to clarify business requirements and translate them into actionable specifications.
- Perform quality-control activities before releases, assess data quality, identify abnormalities, and produce monitoring and verification reports.
- Maintain application documentation and support ongoing program maintenance.
- Coordinate with software, data, digital, and tactical simulation teams to support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Python development experience.
- Proven experience developing Python web applications with Plotly Dash.
- Strong proficiency with pandas for data processing and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub repositories, version control, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS for structuring and styling dashboard pages.
- Master's degree or engineering degree in Data Science, Informatics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech company and understanding of R&D drug development is required.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, planning and capacity management, and Agile methodology is preferred or beneficial.
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, quality, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
