Base Salary
$281k - $356k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and technical strategy for core data platforms.
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks for data quality and discoverability.
- Identify and address inefficiencies in the data development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with various teams to define data contracts and ensure alignment on architectural direction.
- Mentor senior engineers and champion best practices in data engineering.
Requirements
- Proven track record of setting technical vision and delivering impactful data projects.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical designs to diverse stakeholders.
- Extensive experience with large-scale distributed data systems.
- Deep expertise in data governance principles and frameworks.
- Strong experience in designing data-centric APIs and schemas.
- Expertise in data pipeline development and proficiency in SQL and one of C++/Java/Python.
