Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software components for Android-based firmware and OS products.
- Implement requirements across application development activities, including backlog refinement and estimation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on client requirements, architecture, and priorities.
- Escalate development risks, issues, and concerns.
- Review work completed by other development team members.
- Learn and apply project-relevant technologies, practices, and tools.
- Participate in internal technical communities and events.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Android AOSP development.
- Experience with C and C++.
- Knowledge of Android SDK/NDK, connectivity, permissions, AIDL, SELinux, networking protocols, and TLS is beneficial.
- Understanding of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.
- Familiarity with design and architectural patterns, clean code principles, and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with testing and mocking frameworks.
- Familiarity with HTTP, REST, JSON, TCP/IP, and communication protocols and standards.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- At least intermediate English proficiency.
- Educational background in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred experience with USB/UVC, MIPI CSI, HDMI, Ethernet, streaming, encoding, decoding, RTP, JPG, PNG, RAW, H.264, H.265, Android application development, Java, Kotlin, and web proxies.
