Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand their most important problems and design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Own end-to-end execution and outcomes for high-stakes projects with significant freedom and minimal supervision.
- Discuss architecture with engineers, work with massive-scale data, code custom web applications, engage customer executives, and establish team strategy.
- Collaborate with other Forward Deployed Software Engineers, product teams, Deployment Strategists, and customers, often on site.
Requirements
- Must be planning to graduate in 2026, with this position serving as the applicant’s final internship before graduation.
- Must hold an active Australian Security clearance or be eligible and willing to obtain one.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Engineering background preferred in areas such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Ability to solve open-ended problems, work independently with minimal direction, collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, and adapt to changing objectives.
- Interest in using large-scale data to solve valuable business problems and ability to travel as needed.
