Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and extend Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using AL and extensions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into clear technical concepts.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 Business Central with third-party systems using web services and APIs.
- Contribute to solution lifecycles spanning development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Produce technical documentation and maintain coding standards.
- Support upgrades, performance tuning, telemetry-based diagnostics, and system maintenance.
- Develop reporting and workflow integrations involving Business Central, postal systems, external workflow partners, and finance operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing with Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV using AL and C/AL.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central architecture, extension models, and integration capabilities.
- Knowledge of SQL, SQL Server, and T-SQL, including database performance tuning.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code, AL development tools, Git, Docker, and PowerShell.
- Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience using telemetry to diagnose problems and analyze performance-affecting operations.
- Experience with AL, C/AL, C#, .NET, JavaScript, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, OData, and web services.
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, Business Central Administration Center, SSRS, Word layouts, and Excel integration.
- Experience with postal workflows, Android app integrations, BenchQ, myPostQ, Royal Mail OBA, Business Central AIMI, MI reporting, OnePlatform, JCMS, and Business Central Finance integration.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
