Base Salary
$140k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable ML services and pipelines for document extraction, visual understanding, and agentic automation.
- Integrate LLMs into reliable production systems and enterprise features.
- Containerize, deploy, and scale services on Kubernetes while contributing to observability, alerting, and CI/CD.
- Write clean, tested code, build automated tests, monitor service health, and investigate customer-facing performance and quality issues.
- Develop product features end to end, including API design, data handling, performance tuning, and release.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and consuming product teams to define success criteria and communicate capabilities and limitations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, plus 1–3 years of related experience.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, system design, APIs, concurrency, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and how LLMs and vision-language models are integrated into applications.
- Understanding of computer vision techniques and the ability to independently evaluate model quality using test sets and appropriate metrics.
- Experience building, deploying, and operating scalable, observable, and reliable services.
- Experience using AI tools or integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Multimodal projects, research, or work involving document understanding or multimodal models are strongly preferred.
- Java or JavaScript experience is a bonus.
