Responsibilities
- Build scalable, user-focused applications using modern frameworks and full-stack technologies on the Software Engineer track.
- Work with data, databases, analytics tools, data visualisation, cloud platforms, and data pipelines on the Data Engineer track.
- Contribute to client projects for a major UK public-sector organisation.
- Apply programming, software development, testing, debugging, data modelling, and software lifecycle concepts.
- Participate in professional and technical development, client experiences, mentorship, and collaborative delivery.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline.
- Programming ability in one or more of Python, R, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and familiarity with data visualisation tools for the Data Engineer track.
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Spring Boot, or Django and knowledge of full-stack concepts for the Software Engineer track.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, software testing, debugging, and the software development lifecycle.
- Academic, personal, or internship projects demonstrating data analysis, insights, or software development skills.
- Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, including continuous UK residence in the UK for the last five years.
- Ability to commute to Telford or Hove and work from the office up to three days per week.
