Responsibilities
- Build and publish sample projects showing AI/ML engineers how to train, fine-tune, and deploy models on the Dexmate platform.
- Write and publish weekly technical tutorials, architecture explainers, and deployment walkthroughs for engineers new to physical AI.
- Own and update SDK documentation, quickstarts, API references, and Python SDK samples within 48 hours of platform changes.
- Answer developer questions in Discord and GitHub Discussions within 24 hours.
- Build reference integrations with foundation AI model providers and publish architecture guides for running models on Dexmate robots.
- Speak at AI/ML conferences three to four times per year and run live demos for developers, partners, and enterprise prospects.
- Report model-integration friction and missing platform capabilities to engineering weekly.
Requirements
- Fluent Python skills and real ML engineering experience involving model development, training, fine-tuning, inference optimization, ML infrastructure, or MLOps.
- At least 3 years of ML engineering experience and experience shipping models that ran in production.
- Demonstrated technical writing or content publication with meaningful traction, such as a starred GitHub repository, bookmarked tutorial, or widely circulated ML blog post.
- Ability to write clean, documented, reusable code and communicate technical concepts to both new developers and ML researchers.
- Strong bonus qualifications include vision-language-action or embodied AI research, hands-on sim-to-real transfer, familiarity with Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Drake, or Genesis, a technical blog/GitHub/YouTube with traction, open-source ML contributions, or model deployment on edge or embedded hardware.
