Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and test critical product features and subsystems.
- Develop, train, validate, and deploy AI, machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning models.
- Lead a team of engineers in algorithm and model design and development.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
- Track project and product milestones and releases to meet schedule and budget goals.
- Prepare and conduct technical reviews.
- Lead continuous process and team productivity improvements.
- Participate in professional development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Proficiency in Python and a strong programming background.
- Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, and deep learning theory and concepts.
- Experience developing, training, and validating AI models for real-world problems.
- At least 5 years of progressive professional experience.
- United States citizenship.
- Strong technical, leadership, communication, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively lead a small to medium-sized team.
- Master’s or PhD in a computer science-related discipline is desired.
- Experience deploying ML models into products and services is desired.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, or MATLAB is desired.
