Responsibilities
- Analyze software and system requirements and develop and execute test cases using physical electrification dynamometers.
- Execute system integration, qualification, validation, regression testing, and software debug-support activities.
- Maintain bidirectional traceability between test cases and software and system requirements.
- Prepare and present software and system V&V reports, metrics, validation results, and summaries.
- Assess validation risks and needs related to functional safety, cybersecurity, and data integrity.
- Support cross-functional root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and software bug-fix validation.
- Maintain test logs covering bench problems, hardware issues, and other noteworthy information.
- Coordinate validation tasks, project planning status, milestones, and bench requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Process/Automation, HIL Commission, engineering programs, and continuous-improvement teams.
- Participate in technical customer discussions and align final DVP&R and design-change requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, or software engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience focused on power-electrification embedded software and system validation.
- Experience with automotive tools including VectorCast, Vector CANape, CANalyzer/CANoe, CANdela Studio, Typhoon, dSPACE, Automation Desk, Synect, Polarion, Jira, and Azure Git.
- Knowledge of embedded C/C++ software and model-based embedded software design.
- Knowledge of black-box, gray-box, interface, and validation-lifecycle testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and cybersecurity testing methods.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously with multidisciplinary and global teams.
