Base Salary
$173k - $345k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build triggers and orchestration connecting Slack, Linear, GitHub, and schedulers to coding-agent runs and outputs such as pull requests, preview environments, documents, and Slack replies.
- Shape the context available to agents using code history, Notion, Slack, Datadog, and integration twins.
- Build human-in-the-loop interfaces for reviewing and steering agent plans, artifacts, and code.
- Evaluate and integrate coding-agent, sandbox, and orchestration tools using build-versus-buy judgment.
- Build observability for agent work, including traces, tool audit trails, execution costs, and sampling-based trace review.
- Partner with the CTO on architecture, priorities, and roadmap decisions.
- Own delivery from design through launch, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
- Establish patterns for how the engineering organization uses coding agents.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with coding agents and LLM tooling such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar.
- Proven experience building developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or platform infrastructure used daily by other engineers.
- Experience building observability for agent work, including traces, tool audit trails, and cost per execution.
- A track record of delivering complex systems and leading engineers.
- Strong build-versus-buy judgment and comfort operating in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment.
