Responsibilities

  • Develop full-stack software applications using modern web technologies and frameworks to connect and process diverse data streams.
  • Consume APIs and collaborate on efficient data payloads and API contracts.
  • Manage databases and data-stream solutions for high-frequency telemetry data on the application side.
  • Design offline-mode application logic using local caching and data-synchronization strategies.
  • Use AI-powered coding tools to improve development speed, code quality, readability, and documentation.
  • Configure and interface onboard equipment, including wireless access points and servers, with the aircraft bus.
  • Connect and monitor on-premises applications and cloud infrastructure using networking, VPN tunneling, and IPSec technologies.
  • Integrate smart assets and sensors within an IoT ecosystem.
  • Troubleshoot complex data drops across multiple network hops and adapt to evolving project responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Expertise in software and application development.
  • Proven full-stack software development experience with modern web technologies and frameworks.
  • Experience with systems integration, IoT protocols, and server management.
  • Ability to work with APIs, databases, telemetry data streams, offline synchronization, and application connectivity strategies.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies including NAT, IPtables, DNS, VPN tunneling, and IPSec.
  • Curiosity about new development tools and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues creatively.
  • Flexibility to work in an agile environment where the technical scope may evolve.
