Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack software applications using modern web technologies and frameworks to connect and process diverse data streams.
- Consume APIs and collaborate on efficient data payloads and API contracts.
- Manage databases and data-stream solutions for high-frequency telemetry data on the application side.
- Design offline-mode application logic using local caching and data-synchronization strategies.
- Use AI-powered coding tools to improve development speed, code quality, readability, and documentation.
- Configure and interface onboard equipment, including wireless access points and servers, with the aircraft bus.
- Connect and monitor on-premises applications and cloud infrastructure using networking, VPN tunneling, and IPSec technologies.
- Integrate smart assets and sensors within an IoT ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot complex data drops across multiple network hops and adapt to evolving project responsibilities.
Requirements
- Expertise in software and application development.
- Proven full-stack software development experience with modern web technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with systems integration, IoT protocols, and server management.
- Ability to work with APIs, databases, telemetry data streams, offline synchronization, and application connectivity strategies.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies including NAT, IPtables, DNS, VPN tunneling, and IPSec.
- Curiosity about new development tools and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues creatively.
- Flexibility to work in an agile environment where the technical scope may evolve.
