Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, manufacture, and test novel spacecraft components.
- Build complete tools and testing setups and fully complete and ship the work.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly on solutions to challenging problems.
Requirements
- Work full-time onsite and commit to a minimum of 12 weeks in person at the Hawthorne, California office.
- Be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in aerospace engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Demonstrate the ability to create scrappy solutions and build and ship complex, high-quality solutions when needed.
- Work independently while recognizing when to seek guidance.
- Preferred experience includes Python, C++, services, APIs, full-stack applications, relational or time-series databases, Linux, command-line tools, AWS, Kubernetes, networking, RF fundamentals, ground station operations, and satellite communication systems.
- Technical experience from extracurricular projects, volunteering, personal projects, laboratory research, or prior internships or work is preferred.
