Base Salary
$169k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop reliable C++ flight software for embedded processors operating spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules throughout their missions.
- Own software design, implementation, testing, integration, verification, and validation across the development lifecycle.
- Scope projects, capture requirements, and perform initial design trades for open-ended problems.
- Provide flight operational support and ensure software quality and performance.
- Collaborate with the team to communicate and solve problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
- At least 5 years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
- Strong C++ development experience and understanding of C++ language concepts.
- Preferred: end-to-end spacecraft building and launch experience, real-time embedded systems, aerospace safety-critical software, CCSDS telemetry and telecommand, F' or cFS, Python or Rust, analog and digital electronics, and SPI, I2C, CAN, or EtherCAT.
