Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end cybersecurity support to aerospace projects.
- Lead the definition of security requirements and security concepts.
- Lead secure architecture design for aerospace solutions.
- Lead security risk assessment and threat modeling processes.
- Act as security officer and point of contact for cybersecurity topics on assigned projects.
- Verify and validate cybersecurity system and network designs.
- Evaluate, develop, and adapt secure system and network configuration baselines and hardening measures.
- Support bid teams with technical security solutions and effort estimates.
- Coordinate stakeholders and team members to deliver technical solutions on quality, on time, and on cost.
Requirements
- Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, communications, computer science, or a similar field, or comparable experience.
- Several years of experience in system security engineering and defining security concepts and processes for complex space and aviation systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks including the ISO 27000 Family, NIST 2, and CMMC.
- Expertise in secure architecture principles such as Zero Trust, Defense in Depth, and Least Privilege.
- Knowledge of risk assessment frameworks including EBIOS and NIST SP800-37.
- Understanding of verification and validation procedures for secure architectures.
- Knowledge of security products and secure communications protocols.
- Excellent English communication and writing skills; German is a plus.
