Responsibilities
- Support and enhance mission-critical environments for new and existing cloud-native products and services.
- Improve monitoring, observability, reliability, and performance in collaboration with product development teams.
- Manage and improve infrastructure deployment pipelines and troubleshoot onboarding and operational issues.
- Lead capacity planning and build automation that improves developer experience, engineering velocity, and system reliability.
- Define and manage service-level objectives and error budgets with engineering teams.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, disaster recovery, configuration management, and platform-readiness activities.
- Provide rotational evening-shift, weekend, and on-call support as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders and contribute to knowledge sharing across product areas.
- Manage both client onboarding projects and live production operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Expertise with Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, and Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, distributed tracing, application reliability platforms, and synthetic monitoring.
- Experience integrating and configuring identity-provider solutions and implementing SAML, OAuth, and OIDC access protocols.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender Suite, Sentinel, KQL, vulnerability remediation, and compliance improvement using Defender for Cloud.
- Understanding of networking, Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, scripting, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with IT service management practices focused on incident, change, and problem management.
- Experience managing client onboarding and live production operations.
- Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension and Salesforce is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset, cross-functional working ability, and interest in continuous learning.
