Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance mission-critical environments for new and existing cloud-native products and services.
  • Improve monitoring, observability, reliability, and performance in collaboration with product development teams.
  • Manage and improve infrastructure deployment pipelines and troubleshoot onboarding and operational issues.
  • Lead capacity planning and build automation that improves developer experience, engineering velocity, and system reliability.
  • Define and manage service-level objectives and error budgets with engineering teams.
  • Participate in incident, problem, change, disaster recovery, configuration management, and platform-readiness activities.
  • Provide rotational evening-shift, weekend, and on-call support as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders and contribute to knowledge sharing across product areas.
  • Manage both client onboarding projects and live production operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, and Terraform.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, distributed tracing, application reliability platforms, and synthetic monitoring.
  • Experience integrating and configuring identity-provider solutions and implementing SAML, OAuth, and OIDC access protocols.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender Suite, Sentinel, KQL, vulnerability remediation, and compliance improvement using Defender for Cloud.
  • Understanding of networking, Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, scripting, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with IT service management practices focused on incident, change, and problem management.
  • Experience managing client onboarding and live production operations.
  • Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Collaborative mindset, cross-functional working ability, and interest in continuous learning.
