Responsibilities
- Analyze, compile, and implement industry standards and methodologies for an authoritative Navy Reserve data ecosystem.
- Manage enterprise data pipelines, architectures, observability, and governance.
- Automate data feeds from multiple systems into a consolidated data environment.
- Perform capability gap analysis, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions.
- Develop and implement integration strategies across existing legacy systems.
- Support Navy Reserve data management, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, process automation, innovation, and digital modernization missions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, scientific, or technical studies.
- Active Secret Clearance and eligibility for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python, PySpark, GitLab, Databricks and/or Jupyter Notebook, Secure File Gateway, and Magic.
- At least 2 years of experience with JavaScript and SQL software coding.
- At least 2 years of experience with Navy Reserve data systems and Advana/Jupyter.
- At least 6 months of experience managing or modifying Alchemy pipeline code.
- Preferred experience supporting the Chief of Navy Reserve and familiarity with VAULTIS and DOTMLPF-P.
