Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure SAP PI/PO/CPI/APIM components and interfaces.
- Perform performance analysis and tuning for individual interfaces.
- Configure connectivity between SAP and legacy systems.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP integration components and interfaces.
- Assist with integration test cases and plans and support project testing.
- Develop custom PI/PO adapter modules and configure monitoring and alerts.
- Configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals, and API analytics.
- Develop REST APIs and web services using RAML, connectors, and exception handling.
- Troubleshoot PI/PO, ABAP, and J2EE stacks and manage day-to-day interface development and support issues.
- Promote component reuse, provide technical quality assurance, and ensure adherence to development standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting SAP NetWeaver PI components and interfaces, including ABAP, Java, and Adeptia.
- Minimum 4 years of proven SAP Process Integration experience.
- Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP PI/PO 7.x, SAP ABAP, Java, PI message mapping, and large-scale SAP implementation projects.
- Advanced software development and architecture skills with knowledge of distributed computing.
- Knowledge of FILE, JMS, JDBC, MAIL, RFC, and SOAP adapters, including mutual SSL configuration on ABAP and Java stacks.
- Knowledge of PI/PO troubleshooting, Advanced Adapter Engine, BPE, caches, transports, and processing large volumes of messages concurrently.
- Strong knowledge of API configuration, REST API development, web services, RAML design, API portals, API analytics, and proxy endpoints.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Postman, SOAPUI, Oxygen XML, and CTS+.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-trust skills.
- WebSphere MQ application support experience is preferred.
