Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and operate cloud-based Data and AI applications for P&C underwriting and pricing.
- Deliver Data and AI use cases that create measurable value in collaboration with product teams and business stakeholders.
- Use cloud resources efficiently and work on cloud-native application architecture and infrastructure.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and the sharing of engineering best practices.
- Stay current with developments in Data and Generative AI and share knowledge with team members and stakeholders.
- Support business stakeholders in analytical thinking and the practical application of AI.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an AI Engineer, Data Scientist, or Software Engineer with a demonstrated record of delivering business value through AI and software applications.
- Productive experience with Python, REST APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, vector stores, RAG, SQL, CI/CD, Git, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, collaboration models, cloud infrastructure, and cloud-native application architecture.
- Strong curiosity and a hands-on mindset for exploring new concepts and ideas.
- Ability to understand business problems and processes in depth and apply analytical thinking.
- Fluent German and English are required.
