Responsibilities
- Integrate the compiler and compiled models with machine learning frameworks such as ONNX and PyTorch.
- Implement model partitioning in machine learning frameworks and/or MLIR.
- Develop runtime functionality to distribute work to and collect results from x86 and AIE cores.
- Design and develop new AMD technologies.
- Debug and fix issues while researching more efficient implementation approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong object-oriented programming background with C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with ML compiler and runtime technologies such as MLIR and LLVM.
- Compiler construction skills and experience generating code for machine learning hardware accelerators.
- Machine learning concepts and model development experience, including familiarity with ONNX and PyTorch.
- Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs is preferred.
- Experience with debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, code quality, and attention-to-detail skills.
