Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reusable authentication and authorization services using C# and modern .NET.
- Build scalable REST APIs, integration services, SDKs, libraries, developer tooling, and Angular administration portals.
- Contribute to Fine-Grained Authorization, centralized access management, enterprise identity integrations, and secure API design.
- Develop cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure, including reverse proxy capabilities with Azure API Management.
- Support Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, platform scalability, and operational resilience.
- Write unit, integration, API, and automated tests and participate in peer reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
- Provide third-line production support and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, platform engineers, and multiple consuming product teams.
- Create technical documentation and improve developer onboarding, platform adoption, and integration patterns.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of commercial software development experience using C# and modern .NET.
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and scalable enterprise applications or shared platform services.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and modern software design principles.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, authentication, authorization, identity providers, secure API design, and identity-based access control.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, with ability and willingness to work with OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Understanding of Azure API Management or similar API gateway technologies.
- Experience developing Angular applications with TypeScript and building administrative or developer-facing web applications.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and API tests.
- Preferred experience includes Auth0, Fine-Grained Authorization, Google Zanzibar, SCIM integrations, identity federation, Datadog, Playwright, Trivy, GitLeaks, Invicti, reusable developer platforms, and enterprise shared services.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and strong communication and collaboration skills.
