Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Partner with business and product teams to understand customer challenges, objectives, and value propositions.
- Translate customer and product requirements into product features, epics, and user stories for software delivery teams.
- Define user personas and collaborate with UX/UI designers on user-centered feature designs and mockups.
- Define and maintain system architecture, subsystem interfaces, and high-level software designs.
- Ensure functional and non-functional requirements for safety, compliance, reliability, and performance are addressed.
- Coordinate defect triage and resolution planning with product, business, and engineering stakeholders.
- Facilitate planning with software architects and technical leads for end-to-end solution development.
- Apply incremental delivery, MVP, and INVEST practices in Agile software development.
- Participate in technical reviews, architecture assessments, and DFMEA activities to identify and mitigate risks.
- Support multidisciplinary engineering teams in resolving complex technical challenges.
- Coordinate product development and customer experience efforts with global teams across North America, India, and other regions.
- Provide technical leadership under the direction of the Project Solution Owner and Engineering Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of software product design and the ability to convert market requirements into software product designs.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, technologies, and methodologies and the ability to develop, implement, or apply AI products and services in an industrial domain.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, manage multiple priorities, provide technically excellent solutions, think strategically, and influence through expertise.
- Preferred experience with autonomous systems, mining technologies, or industrial automation platforms.
- Preferred experience with GPS positioning, IP networking, Wi-Fi, LTE, and wireless communications.
- Preferred experience with embedded software development and software-intensive systems.
- Preferred knowledge of systems architecture, software design, and end-to-end solution development.
- Preferred experience with DFMEA, system-level risk assessments, and architecture reviews.
- Preferred familiarity with UX design processes, user-centered product development, and global matrixed engineering organizations.
- Fluency in English and French is preferred.
