Responsibilities
- Lead application systems analysis and programming activities in coordination with technology and management teams.
- Define system enhancements and integrate application functions to support new products and process improvements.
- Design and implement large-scale data solutions for AI/ML applications.
- Develop coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and application design standards.
- Evaluate complex business and system processes and resolve high-impact problems.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage technology, business, compliance, and operational risks.
- Drive operational process change and improvement while working with matrixed and virtual teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience in financial services or a large, complex, and/or global environment.
- At least 3 years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hive, Hadoop, and Storm.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Strong Python programming experience for data manipulation and AI/ML pipeline scripting.
- Knowledge of ELK, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, and AWS S3.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale data solutions for AI/ML applications.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, HBase, and Cassandra.
- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, communication, ownership, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
