Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, debug, and optimize LabVIEW software applications.
- Create and support automated production, engineering, and laboratory test systems.
- Develop data acquisition, instrument control, signal processing, monitoring, user interface, and operator display software.
- Integrate software with cameras, oscilloscopes, power supplies, energy meters, positioning equipment, and other instruments using hardware interfaces and communication protocols.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and equipment integration in laboratory and production environments.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines and internal customers to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Prepare software designs, test procedures, user guides, validation reports, and other technical documentation.
- Support software upgrades, legacy code maintenance, configuration management, estimation, planning, and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field with at least four years of relevant experience; alternatively, a graduate degree with at least two years of experience or eight years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least three years of experience developing applications in LabVIEW.
- At least three years of experience developing production test station equipment.
- Preferred qualifications include opto-mechanical test station design, LabVIEW imaging tools, data acquisition and instrumentation, automated test equipment, hardware interfaces, software debugging and testing, SVN, MES integration, Python, C/C++, C#, MATLAB, electrical schematics, production processes, or experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, medical devices, or industrial automation.
