Responsibilities
- Own the user experience for Phoenix applications and translate mission workflows and data into intuitive, accessible interfaces.
- Lead user-centered interface design from discovery through implementation for enterprise or mission applications.
- Create and present customer-facing wireframes, user flows, clickable prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and design recommendations.
- Develop production user interfaces using JavaScript, React, Python, HTML, CSS, and React component libraries.
- Build responsive, accessible, and maintainable web applications using API-driven front-end patterns.
- Translate customer workflows, business requirements, and complex data into information architectures, interaction designs, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Conduct or support user research, usability testing, stakeholder interviews, and iterative design reviews.
- Integrate front-end applications with APIs and authentication and authorization services.
- Document design rationale, usability findings, and implementation guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, demos, and sprint reviews.
- Incorporate secure UI patterns, privacy considerations, automated front-end testing, design systems, and delivery practices.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must possess a TS/SCI security clearance with CI or Full Scope Polygraph.
- Requires 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, front-end development, product design, or related application development disciplines.
- Requires demonstrated ability to lead intuitive, user-centered interface design for enterprise or mission applications.
- Requires experience creating and presenting wireframes, user flows, clickable prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and design recommendations.
- Requires proficiency with JavaScript, React, and Python for production user interface development.
- Requires strong experience with responsive, accessible, and maintainable web applications using modern HTML, CSS, React component libraries, and API-driven front-end patterns.
- Requires experience translating workflows, business requirements, and complex data into information architectures, interaction designs, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Requires experience with user research, usability testing, stakeholder interviews, and iterative design reviews.
- Requires experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and authentication and authorization services.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
- Oracle APEX application design and development experience is preferred.
- Figma or comparable design and prototyping tool proficiency is preferred.
- Experience with data-rich applications, dashboards, reporting experiences, or financial and budget-traceability workflows is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, cloud-native application services, containers, or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience with secure UI patterns, privacy considerations, DevSecOps practices, automated front-end testing, design systems, component libraries, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
