Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Stripe’s Terminal product to accelerate opportunities globally.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of trends in omnichannel payments.
- Develop expertise with functional and regulatory requirements for card reader hardware.
- Define and share best practices with the broader GTM organization.
- Create reference architectures to enhance team capabilities.
- Partner closely with the Terminal product sales team on key customer relationships.
- Serve as a 'Voice of the Customer' to drive product prioritization.
- Identify and summarize product and industry trends for actionable insights.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Support customers with account or deal strategy and technical questions.
- Provide the Sales team with tools and training to qualify leads.
- Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
- Support marketing events including conferences and trade shows.
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical consulting experience in in-person payment systems.
- Working knowledge of payment terminals and card acceptance hardware.
- Demonstrated knowledge of brick-and-mortar financial architecture.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software for in-person payments.
- Strong understanding of software engineering and architecture patterns.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Interest in solving business problems with technology and creativity.
- Passion for learning and researching emerging products.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with partners.
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.
