Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the encoding libraries with a focus on user-friendly APIs.
- Design data structures and abstractions to simplify encoded data handling.
- Adapt libraries to support new research directions and ensure production readiness.
- Optimize encoding performance across dependent systems.
- Collaborate across the codebase to enhance data handling processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly with libraries or developer-facing APIs.
- Familiarity with ML terminology and LLM architecture.
- Experience with complex refactors in large codebases.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with researchers and engineers.
- Results-oriented mindset with flexibility and impact focus.
- Willingness to take on tasks beyond the job description.
