Responsibilities
- Develop a platform for running large-scale integration tests using simulation, virtual devices, and physical hardware.
- Build and maintain launcher, runtime, frontend, backend, and database components.
- Improve system efficiency and quality while delivering test results promptly and correctly.
- Prototype and iterate simulation technology through production-quality implementations.
- Debug failures across web interfaces, services, virtual machines, and operating systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive improvements through completion.
Requirements
- Demonstrated software engineering fundamentals and deep proficiency in Python.
- Experience building and deploying HTTP services with FastAPI, Flask, or a similar framework.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Postgres.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as React or a comparable framework.
- Hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, object storage, and managed compute in cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, WebSockets, SSH, and network file transfer.
- Strong operating systems background on Linux, macOS, or a comparable platform.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience with virtualization and managing shared fleets of virtual or physical machines.
- Preferred: experience building test infrastructure, CI/CD systems, or developer tooling at scale.
- Preferred: working knowledge of Swift or C++.
- Preferred: familiarity with Apple platforms.
- Preferred: experience with production authentication and authorization, including OIDC/OAuth and certificate-based authentication, plus applied cryptography.
- Preferred: experience serving or evaluating machine learning models in production.
