Responsibilities

Own the product development from ideation, design, implementation, to release.
Collaborate with other engineers and product manager on designing and architecting new systems.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Deliver performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code.

Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).
Availability to work a hybrid schedule in Santiago, Chile (3 days per week in-office).
10+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, with significant experience in Python.
Leadership skills and a passion for mentoring junior engineers.
Experience with running Scrum rituals.
Hands-on experience with AWS.
Strong understanding of microservice architecture, including familiarity with Kubernetes.
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
Experience with CI/CD.
Experience working with data stores such as Postgres and MongoDB.
Experience with Git, GitLab or Github and PR/MR review process.
A passion for optimizing services for scale and speed.
