Base Salary
$215k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend systems and services.
- Build new features and enhance existing backend systems with other engineers.
- Participate in production operations and rotational incident response.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, leadership, sales, support engineering, and customers.
- Improve planning, development, and deployment processes.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of experience building backend applications with a modern programming language.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud computing platforms.
- Experience with modern data storage solutions such as MySQL, Postgres, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and web development best practices.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
