Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee development work for the Ford Enterprise Technology Atlassian portfolio.
- Build, own, and maintain Ford Enterprise Technology’s GCP architecture, frameworks, and projects.
- Establish, coordinate, monitor, and maintain repeatable software development processes.
- Plan, execute, and track software development projects and activities.
- Resolve technical issues and support the Atlassian portfolio so it operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Own architecture, source control, security compliance, testing and quality automation, release governance, CI/CD, artifact management, and AI-assisted engineering.
- Improve customer experience, application usability, development processes, and data-handling efficiency.
- Participate in backlog refinement and planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Excellent Python development skills and scripting experience with Bash or Python.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and related services.
- Hands-on familiarity with Atlassian Jira REST and GraphQL API endpoints.
- Familiarity with Azure, Entra ID, and the Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience with CI/CD build tools such as GitHub Actions or Tekton.
- Practical understanding of AI, including agents and agentic workflows.
- Proficiency with Atlassian Cloud tools including Jira, ROVO, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery, Assets, Analytics, Confluence, and Marketplace applications.
- Experience with command-line interfaces including GCloud, GitHub, Vault, and OpenShift, as well as Linux, Shell, and Bash.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and complex decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, quality assurance, and security and control procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or a related discipline.
- At least five years of software development experience in a large enterprise environment.
