Responsibilities

Manage and support containerized environments using Podman, Docker, and Docker Compose.
Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on Kubernetes clusters.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable deployments.
Collaborate with development, security, and product teams to plan, deploy, and maintain services.
Maintain an onsite virtualization environment.
Document operational procedures and create clear runbooks.
Use Bash or Python scripting to support cloud operations.
Participate in team planning meetings and stakeholder updates.
Explain technical issues clearly to engineers and non-engineers.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
5–7+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps.
Hands-on production experience with Podman, Docker, and Docker Compose.
Solid experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
Proficiency with Bash or Python scripting.
Experience with Git and other version control tools.
Strong skills with integrated development environments such as Eclipse.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Understanding of networking, security, and IAM in cloud environments.
Familiarity with driver-based and automated test environments.
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance or other applicable authorization.
Preferred experience with Terraform, Ansible, rootless Podman, IL5/IL6 compliance environments, AWS, Azure, GCP, and high-availability or regulated environments such as HIPAA or SOC2.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
