Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end application and technology stack services, including application architecture validation and middleware maintenance.
- Configure and support web, application, and database servers, including patching, security updates, and compliance activities.
- Maintain application availability targets of at least 99% and monitor performance metrics.
- Design and maintain automated delivery toolchains for configuration management, source control, application deployment, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Implement automated testing, rollback strategies, static code analysis, dependency scanning, and other DevSecOps controls.
- Configure monitoring and proactive event detection, manage incidents and service requests, and meet agreed response and resolution SLAs.
- Manage application backup and disaster recovery activities, including restoration procedures and recovery environments.
- Analyze and resolve application issues and defects, coordinate with third-party providers, perform root cause analysis, and document post-mortems.
- Provide second- and third-line expert support for troubleshooting, configuration changes, and problem management.
- Maintain operational handbooks, knowledge bases, application health reports, monthly service reports, root cause analysis reports, and patch release documentation.
Requirements
- Strong experience in application management and support of complex technology stacks, including middleware and configuration management tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, automated deployment frameworks, monitoring tools, automation, scripting, backup and restoration procedures, and incident and problem management aligned with ITIL practices.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, security monitoring, and compliance validation across internally developed and third-party solutions.
- Ability to analyze issues methodically, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and work effectively with third-party providers.
- Service-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in regulated environments where reliability and security are critical.
- Good written and spoken English and strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eligible for Personal Security Clearance from an EU country and able to provide appropriate EU work authorization, identification, education documentation, and background-check materials.
