Responsibilities
- Investigate and respond to critical security issues across Apple products.
- Reverse engineer exploits and provide analysis of vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and security risks.
- Create tools and automation to identify security bugs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and technical stakeholders on software security issues.
- Develop or leverage fuzzers, static or dynamic analyzers, and vulnerability management tools.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in one or more of C, C++, or Objective-C for building security automation systems.
- Familiarity with AI capabilities such as function calling and their application to security use cases.
- Experience with production deployment using containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
- Proven ability to analyze and investigate security issues using systematic approaches and tooling.
- Understanding of vulnerability classes, exploit techniques, and common attack vectors.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across technical teams and stakeholders.
- Preferred: experience with fuzzers, static or dynamic analyzers, or vulnerability management platforms.
- Preferred: field experience in vulnerability research, incident response, or security operations.
- Preferred: track record of shipping tools to large enterprise user bases.
