Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate distributed services and asynchronous workflows across AWS regions and Direct Connect locations.
- Develop data processing, monitoring, and automation systems to detect customer impact and accelerate issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot and root-cause customer-impacting issues and drive corrective actions to completion.
- Partner with network development engineers to automate repeatable operational work using AI-assisted development and agent-driven workflows.
- Write and review design documents and mentor engineers through design and code reviews.
- Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with software and network engineers in Dublin and the United States.
Requirements
- Professional, non-internship software development experience.
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
