Application Security Engineer - Agentic Harness

Responsibilities
- Help develop and implement the organization’s DevSecOps and Application Security strategy.
- Partner with engineering leads to apply DevSecOps and AppSec principles and processes.
- Support application teams with security-tool onboarding and vendor troubleshooting for integrations.
- Triage SAST and SCA vulnerabilities and partner with development teams on remediation.
- Deliver security dashboards, metrics, documentation, and audit support.
- Improve DevSecOps and Application Security processes and tools.
- Provide technical support for projects through completion and automate security processes in CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Six years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in application security, software development, build and release management, SSDLC, and DevSecOps.
- Extensive experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security.
- Experience developing software with technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
- Experience with application security tooling, modern CI/CD, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and hybrid-cloud deployment and management automation.
- Security certification such as CISSP, Security+, or another cybersecurity certification is preferred.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes is valuable.
- Strong communication, prioritization, project management, and cross-functional influencing skills.
