Responsibilities
- Modernize monolithic systems by refactoring them into distributed, scalable architectures.
- Design and implement technical solutions aligned with long-term engineering frameworks.
- Build and maintain software using C#, .NET, React, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Improve developer experience through engineering tooling and practices.
- Make major code design decisions and contribute to global engineering standards.
- Deliver and operate complex, large-scale, distributed, and high-availability systems.
- Mentor and coach engineers through complex technical challenges.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering and operating complex large-scale systems in distributed or high-availability environments.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to work across adjacent technologies.
- Experience designing and building high-quality software using a range of languages and tools.
- Ability to lead major code design decisions and contribute to broader technical solutioning.
- Experience with automated testing, refactoring, and modern engineering practices.
- Passion for maintaining and sharing technical knowledge with peers.
- Experience mentoring engineers and supporting their technical growth.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $186,000–$236,000 CAD, with potential variable pay, commissions, or equity based on role and performance.
