Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop scalable and reliable backend systems and frameworks.
- Build and maintain core platform infrastructure for company-wide products and engineering efforts.
- Drive engineering and coding best practices and establish quality and code review standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
- Identify technical debt, architectural bottlenecks, and opportunities for system improvements.
- Mentor and guide engineers on platform and backend topics.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in backend engineering or similar roles.
- Experience building scalable and distributed backend systems and services.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Java, or Python.
- In-depth understanding of system architecture, frameworks, and core infrastructure components.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, and caching strategies.
- Understanding of code reviews, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability and willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru.
