Base Salary
$80k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, and integrate software for embedded real-time control systems.
- Work with real-time operating systems or embedded Linux.
- Develop device drivers and communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and MIL-STD-1553.
- Integrate systems in laboratory and field environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and systems teams.
- Support mission-critical systems and integrated defense solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Work or academic experience in the design, development, or testing of embedded real-time control software.
- Work or academic hands-on experience with integrated hardware/software systems.
- Work or academic experience with control systems and signal processing for the Systems Track.
- Work or academic experience with embedded Linux, cybersecurity tools, or RTOS.
- Current security clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Ability to work onsite in Goleta, California.
- Ability to travel up to 10–15% when required.
