Base Salary
$78k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in delivering and operating reliable, performant, robust, and secure applications.
- Design, document, create, and maintain highly available systems with development teams.
- Design, implement, and manage centralized monitoring solutions that provide actionable feedback.
- Create processes, automation, tooling, reusable components, and workflows for application teams.
- Contribute to cloud-focused architecture improvements and recommend technology enhancements.
- Mentor less senior team members and improve team processes and productivity.
- Provide tier 2 and 3 escalations for related issues and questions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related area of study.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Platform Engineering, DevOps, SysOps, or SRE experience with demonstrated people and thought leadership.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud-native solution architectures and platform support, including cybersecurity, infrastructure as code, and observability.
- Ability to contribute hands-on to platform engineering solutions and cloud-native automation strategies.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience implementing infrastructure as code, with Terraform preferred.
- Experience using GitHub and engineering YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience implementing and operating container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Experience integrating vulnerability-management tooling, including SAST and SCA scanning, with the SDLC toolchain.
- Experience using generative AI tooling for software development and testing productivity.
- Expertise scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Ability to collaborate across technology teams and support developer enablement.

- Hybrid work model with three days per week in the office and the remaining days remote or in the office.
- Annual base salary range of $78,000 to $185,000 per year, with potential discretionary incentive compensation.
