Responsibilities
- Create and maintain graphics automation routines using existing and future automation tools and methodologies.
- Support new customer programs and initiatives by ensuring graphics automation routines are delivered in alignment with customer orders.
- Ensure programs follow graphics automation standards, coding conventions, procedures, operational manuals, and formatting requirements.
- Provide technical support for product setup, product amendment, and routine errors, resolving issues and migrating fixes across global production sites.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of automation-managed setups across sites.
- Continuously review and monitor automation routines to maximize operational benefits.
- Create and maintain internal process documentation for operational consistency and standards.
- Follow departmental health and safety procedures, maintain workstation and department housekeeping, and perform additional duties as requested.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above in Mathematics, Computing, or Computer Science.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior programming-role or programming-project experience is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of programming languages, with JavaScript preferred; FileMaker, Java, C++, or C# knowledge is relevant.
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW, or Adobe Illustrator is preferred.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and reporting skills.
- Good spoken and written English; Cantonese is advantageous.
- Responsible, hardworking, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to work under pressure with large workloads.
- Good communication skills and the ability to recognize colors accurately.
- Knowledge of printing or graphic design is advantageous.
