Responsibilities
- Own the design and maintenance of infrastructure tooling, deployment pipelines, and cloud systems that improve Chronicle SOAR reliability and performance.
- Administer, operate, troubleshoot, and scale advanced Kubernetes and GKE clusters.
- Develop infrastructure configurations and automation policies using Go for secure, consistent, and auditable GCP resource management.
- Design monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and manage SLO and SLI frameworks.
- Analyze incidents, build software to prevent recurrence, reduce manual toil, and accelerate incident resolution while partnering with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Experience with cloud compute platforms such as Kubernetes and Cloud Functions.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience operating observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK and managing SLO/SLI frameworks.
- Preferred: experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and GKE.
- Preferred: understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
