Base Salary
$130k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build consumer Android products using Kotlin and the newest Android APIs.
- Own features from inception through design, implementation, and launch.
- Develop smooth, stable, elegant, secure, and scalable mobile experiences.
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Data teams.
- Improve the Robinhood app and codebase to maintain outstanding quality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional Android development experience building consumer Android applications at scale.
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and Jetpack.
- Experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose is preferred.
- Knowledge of Android SDK, MVVM, Coroutines and Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Strong product sense, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with product managers and designers.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred; equivalent training or work experience is acceptable.
