Responsibilities
- Collaborate with research scientists and engineers to deliver AI models for real-world physics problems.
- Design and build scalable physical foundation models using multi-GPU cloud compute.
- Transform research prototypes into robust implementations while optimizing architecture.
- Select appropriate libraries, frameworks, and tools for project success.
- Lead research work-streams based on seniority level.
- Discuss work results and implications with colleagues and customers.
- Translate research outcomes into reusable libraries and products.
- Mentor colleagues and foster a culture of curiosity.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in computer science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in scientific computing and high-performance computing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver projects autonomously.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ideally, over 2 years of experience in a data-driven professional setting.
- Familiarity with scaling and optimizing ML models and distributed computing frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python and common libraries for machine learning.
- Experience with C/C++ for scientific computing and software engineering best practices.
