Lead Software Engineer- Python,Django & ReactJS
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Build and enhance self-service tools, APIs, and interfaces for requesting, managing, and monitoring database resources.
- Integrate database automation workflows with enterprise platforms, delivery pipelines, and cloud or on-premise infrastructure using Python and automation frameworks.
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software.
- Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Review and debug code, automate recurring issue remediation, and improve application and system operational stability.
- Lead evaluations of vendor, startup, and internal technology solutions and architectural designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver performant business solutions.
- Drive responsible adoption and validation of authorized AI-assisted engineering and automation tools across the team.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Extensive experience developing applications with ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, Django, and databases.
- Advanced Python or other programming-language skills and practical system design and application development experience.
- Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the software development life cycle.
- Advanced understanding of application resiliency and security.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud-native experience, strong problem-solving initiative, willingness to learn new technologies, and extensive database technology experience.
