Responsibilities
- Guide mid-level and junior systems architects in designing, developing, maintaining, and documenting solution architectures.
- Ensure solution architectures remain traceable to Enterprise Architecture and enterprise requirements.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to identify opportunities to automate or improve existing systems.
- Evaluate computer system capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitations to inform architecture and solution design.
- Guide proposed changes to solution architecture designs based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field, or equivalent senior-level Systems Architect experience; 12 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least 12 years of relevant senior-level experience in government or industry, including Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, DoDAF, and IC Program Architecture Guidance.
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication, or the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, MBSE knowledge, Federated Enterprise Architect certification, UAF knowledge, GEOINT and data-management workflow knowledge, imagery standards knowledge, and SAFe experience.
- Must meet at least 50% of the listed desired qualifications.
