Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive manual and automated regression and integration test suites.
- Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing with physical robotics hardware, including sequencing setups, physical interventions, and real-time test runs.
- Validate teleoperation systems and action-sequencing applications.
- Create automated and manual testing strategies for VR and Unity-based simulation and operator-teleoperation applications.
- Automate HTTP and WebSocket API testing and evaluate LLM/VLM responses using quality assessment metrics.
- Prepare test execution reports for major milestones and releases and communicate quality status to engineering teams.
- Identify software quality assurance process and test coverage gaps and drive improvements.
- Manage defects through reporting, verification, and analysis using defect tracking systems.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in Software QA Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Development, including shipping and supporting product releases.
- Hands-on experience with manual hardware-in-the-loop testing on robotics, automotive, or embedded systems.
- Strong test automation skills with Python, C#, or a similar programming language.
- Required experience automating HTTP and WebSocket APIs.
- Experience testing LLM/VLM systems through manual prompting, API layers, and quality assessment metrics.
- Experience testing VR and Unity-based applications, simulation software, or interactive 3D environments using automated and manual strategies.
- Expertise designing test plans and conducting functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Experience with defect lifecycle management and defect tracking systems such as Jira.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and experience integrating and monitoring automated tests with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Preferred experience with real-time control systems or low-latency teleoperation hardware and software.
- Preferred familiarity with UI/UX and backend validation for workflow sequencing or orchestration applications.
- Preferred operational experience with Linux development environments and advanced bash or shell scripting.
- Preferred experience conducting root-cause analysis on complex cross-functional system failures.
