Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead AI agent development, architecture, deployment, and integration with enterprise systems.
- Architect autonomous AI systems, virtual assistants, chatbots, and conversational AI platforms.
- Build Python backend services using FastAPI and asyncio, secure REST APIs, and robust data pipelines.
- Optimize agent performance, latency, and cost using profiling, caching, knowledge graphs, and distributed-system techniques.
- Establish CI/CD practices for automated testing, agent evaluation, API and ML-model deployment, and code quality.
- Analyze vulnerabilities, conduct testing and debugging, troubleshoot software issues, and ensure resilient error handling and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, deliver software, and provide technical consultation.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams, serve as a subject matter expert, and provide GenAI thought leadership.
- Assess business and technology risks, support regulatory compliance, and escalate control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience with strong Python experience.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Extensive hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, transformer architecture, RAG, and agentic frameworks such as Google ADK, LangChain, and LangGraph.
- Expert Python proficiency for AI/ML development, data engineering, and backend services, with strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with LLM fine-tuning, hybrid search, multivector retrieval, and production RAG systems.
- Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Devin AI, Cursor, and Copilot.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or equivalent cloud orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, container-based microservices, and distributed logs.
- Ability to architect and deploy high-performance, large-scale AI/ML systems in production.
- Expert understanding of machine learning and generative AI techniques, complex API integrations, and enterprise system connectivity.
- Java, Spring Boot, SQL, React, or Angular experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
