Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate embedded Linux systems using Yocto/OpenEmbedded.
- Customize kernels, device trees, and drivers for target platforms.
- Perform board bring-up, BSP development, and bootloader integration.
- Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and testing.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing strategies.
- Debug low-level issues and conduct performance analysis using JTAG, perf, ftrace, strace, valgrind, and GDB.
- Apply static analysis tools and MISRA C guidelines to maintain code quality and compliance.
- Manage source code with Git and participate in code and design reviews.
- Contribute to ASPICE-compliant development, requirements traceability, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- At least 3 years of embedded Linux development experience.
- Strong Linux fundamentals, including kernel configuration, device trees, and character, platform, and network driver development.
- Experience with BSP development, board bring-up, and bootloader integration.
- Strong C/C++ embedded programming and Bash and Python scripting skills.
- Knowledge of POSIX APIs, inter-process communication, and multithreading.
- Experience with resource-constrained ECUs, including RAM, flash, and real-time constraints.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and requirements traceability using tools such as JIRA or DOORS.
